1. What Signetry is

Signetry is an offline Android app for designing a simple mark and applying it to your own photos. It is provided free of charge.

2. Your work is yours

You own the marks you create and the files you export. Binary Data Technology claims no rights over them and places no restriction on how you use, sell or license them. The shapes in the app are drawn by the app itself, and text uses typefaces already installed on your device, so nothing in your export carries a third-party licence obligation from Signetry.

3. What Signetry does not do

Signetry does not search trade mark registers, does not check whether a name or design is already in use, and does not tell you whether anything you make is original, registrable or free to use. It gives you no legal rights in a mark. Nothing in the app or on this site is legal advice. If a mark matters to your business, take proper professional advice before relying on it.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you put into the app — the words you type, the photos you select and the marks you produce — and for having the right to use them. Do not use Signetry to imitate someone else's brand or to mark images you do not have the right to mark.

5. No warranty

Signetry is provided "as is". It is a tool for producing image files; it is not guaranteed to be error-free or fit for any particular purpose. Keep your own copies of anything you care about. The app never modifies or deletes your original photos, but you remain responsible for your own backups.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Binary Data Technology is not liable for lost profits, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Signetry. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Changes

These terms may change when the app changes. The version in force is the one published here on the date shown above.
